Herbal Remedies For Menstrual Cramps

The tightening of the uterine muscle during menses is a natural part of the feminine reproductive cycle. Pain and discomfort during this period can be reduced by healthy habits and stress control.
Herbs that can help reduce and even perhaps relieve the pain of menstrual cramps are cramp bark, valerian root, and skull cap herb. Mix one teaspoon of each herb in four cups of water and simmer for twenty minutes. Drink one cup of the tea three times a day.
If you prefer add one teaspoon of each tincture to one cup of water and drink one half cup twice a day.
